One lesson · four quiz levels

IV Volume, Time & Rate Basics quizzes

These are fictional practice intravenous (IV) volume-time-rate numbers for arithmetic only. Each question treats the stated rate as constant over that interval and uses the specified practice volume. To calculate one of volume, time or rate you need the other two connected values from the same interval; if that information is missing, stop rather than guess. The quiz does not choose a real patient’s fluid, ordered volume or volume to be infused (VTBI), rate, device, monitoring plan or whether an infusion is clinically appropriate.
