Dose Range & Maximum Dose Checks
Use a dose range supplied by the exercise or verified reference, confirm the reference basis matches the stated context, calculate the lower and upper limits, apply any separately supplied maximum on its own per-dose or per-day basis, then compare the prescribed dose.

Clinical connection
Why this matters
A weight-based upper calculation can be limited by a separate maximum, but the maximum must be applied on the basis actually supplied — per dose is not per day. A matching daily maximum is applied to the whole-day upper boundary before any divided-dose conversion.
