IV Pump Rate (mL/hr) quizzes

These quizzes use fictional practice intravenous (IV) infusion numbers for arithmetic only. The target in this lesson is the volumetric infusion rate in mL/hr: liquid volume per hour, not a medication dose rate such as mg/hr. Use the specified practice volume and time from one active order / one constant-rate interval; in real pump workflows, the ordered rate and volume to be infused (VTBI) are separate values that must be verified. Convert minutes to hours when needed, keep working precision until any stated final rounding instruction, and reverse-check with rate × time = volume. Pump mL/hr is also different from gravity gtt/min, which requires a tubing drop factor. A correct arithmetic result does not select therapy, authorise administration, or provide device-specific programming instructions; real care still requires the verified order, device instructions, relevant guidance and local policy.
