These are fictional practice intravenous (IV) medication-rate arithmetic scenarios using supplied exercise values, not medicine-specific prescribing, preparation or administration instructions. The result is a calculated medication dose rate represented by the supplied concentration and matching current solution rate; it does not independently verify actual pump output, line delivery or exact patient exposure. Keep volumetric infusion rate in mL/hr separate from medication dose rate in mg/hr or mg/min. Use one verified current concentration and its matching current mL/hr from the same infusion state; if a required value is missing, conflicting or not clearly current, stop and clarify rather than inventing a value. A smart pump may request dose-rate and infusion-rate fields differently depending on its drug library and configuration, so a correct arithmetic result does not authorise administration or replace device-specific programming checks.
