George B. Haycock was a British paediatric nephrologist whose research included kidney disease in children and the practical measurement of body size. In 1978 he was lead author of the Journal of Pediatrics study that measured body surface area across infants, children and adults and derived the height-weight equation now called the Haycock BSA formula. His later publications list appointments in paediatric nephrology at Guy's Hospital and St Thomas' Hospital in London.
