Overview

Stephen L. George, PhD, is Professor Emeritus of Biostatistics and Bioinformatics at Duke University School of Medicine. His work has focused on the design, conduct and analysis of clinical trials and other biomedical studies, including cancer trials, sequential methods and prognostic-factor analysis. Early in his career he co-authored the 1970 Gehan and George study of body surface area estimation.
